Ever since I can remember, I have loved to tell stories. What better way to tell a story than through photo and video? Capturing a smile, a special moment or an event provides an opportunity for the subjects to relive and share their experience. Photography has always been my passion, but I have made a living in video. After studying broadcast journalism at Illinois State University, I started my

career in Central Illinois – creating commercials and on-air promotions for local television affiliates. From 2008 – 2012, I had an incredible opportunity with a marketing agency, working for clients such as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, and Southern Comfort. My position allowed me to utilize my education and mix in my obsession with photography. Currently, I work for an innovation agency and I am once again utilizing my skills, maximizing my potential and accepting new challenges daily. Throughout my career, talented friends and great mentors have surrounded me. I have been fortunate to wake up every day never feeling like I was going to work. The combination of my professional experience, personality and passion has given me a unique perspective from behind the lens. Over the years, I have traveled the country capturing client-sponsored events, wedding, and work shops. It is a combination of work and life that inspires me to keep snapping the shutter. I went into the 2026 Indy 500 with a specific goal of capturing the pace lap for America. I scouted my spot a couple of days prior at the Monster Jam speed record and I was very happy with what I captured. The location even provided me with some unexpected surprises. As a photographer, race day can be extremely overwhelming and I often suffer from decision paralysis but this year was cool to go in with a specific shot in mind and have it work out. Props to all the visual artists that were scattered across the I’ll be sure to continue to share some the work of others in my stories.
