It's the little moments like this at weddings that are my favorites. Small intimate ceremonies surrounded by family and close friends allow for more attention to capturing moments like this.

Good morning! Happy Monday. My face this morning when I had to get up. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm happy to hear the birds chirping and feel the increase in weather though! Warmer days are getting closer.

A fave winter wedding detail shot! So many photos I love that I have never shared before from weddings past! I've been looking back through and working on my website, picking all the ones that make me feel something. Im looking forward to getting back into shooting this year! I have some fun projects I'm working on. My 365(photo a day) is still going strong! It's been a challenge with the snow and cold weather but at the end of the year it's always worth it.

Everyday is a great day to be alive. Finding the breath in your lungs, cold air on your skin, a warm bed to sleep in, a cup of coffee or whatever it is that brings you joy and fills you with life. Despite the evil, the pain, the hurt in the world, there is something good to live for. Regardless of what you believe about faith, or where you are at in your life try to always find the positives, the joy, the little moments to live for when things look bleak. Let yourself be human, to feel but ground yourself in what is real, and true. Life is beautiful, it is worth living.

The days are short, the days are long, there is no in between. Memories are in the making, moments are fleeting. As I take the time to soak up my days, saturating them in being present, I document. Whatever calls to me, grabs at my soul. Do you ever have moments like this? Ever want to remember coffee shop trips with your love? Or Saturday morning breakfast with the family? A trip to the pool, reading books, hiking at the park, or just being together in the back yard. No pressure to smile or dress up, just being you. Represented just as you are. That is what I hope to capture and portray in my new black and white series. I'm super excited to be adding this as a session offering! I'll share more details soon. 😍 For now enjoy these of this sweet, sweet, family getting ready for a snowy play day.

I love meeting new people, so here are 5 fun facts about me:

&1. My guilty pleasure coffee order is a lavender honey latte, extra shot, breve. Haven't had one in ages bc I'm picky about lavender. 😂

&2. I love ice skating & winter sports in general although living in Indiana doesn't give me much to work with.

&3. My first "job" outside of entrepreneurship was at my local Christian book store, where I met my husband. I pretty much liked him from the moment I met him. 😍😂

&4. If I had nothing holding me back I'd move to a tropical island in a heartbeat. 🤙🏼

&5. I love the smell of a wood burning stove. We had one when I lived in michigan as a kid. Brings back so many memories having Rummy tournaments during long winters with my family. Just love it. 🔥
