Why do you Iike photographing weddings?
When Kyle and I got engaged in 2016 I had never had my photo taken professionally (minus like school and church photos). I didn't know any photographers, I had no priority on photography except I wanted the photos to look good. I knew I didn't want to risk bad photos and regretting that decision but I didn't know where to start.
We met with a couple photographers before ultimately choosing one. And somehow, she made our awkward butts feel comfortable in front of the camera and we had a great time and got amazing photos. And I knew from the minute we got our engagement photos taken I wanted to do the same for other couples.
I took the leap, bought a camera, and photographed my first wedding in 2017. Second shot a whole bunch, booked more weddings from there, and here we are. I've photographed weddings, couples, newborns, maternity, dogs, birthdays, breastfeeding, lifestyle, at home, seniors, portraits, families...you name it. And I love it all. But couple shoots & weddings, I hold those a little extra special, because that's where it all started for me.
