Fall looks better on film! 🍁
Crisp mornings, changing leaves, golden light — autumn was made for shooting film. Whether you’re chasing rich color, bold landscapes, or that unmistakable nostalgic look, our team member, Wes Edwards shares his top film picks to capture all the color this season:
Kodak Ektar 100 — This film stock was built for fall colors. It is saturated and very fine grain and really makes the reds, oranges, and yellows pop. This is my favorite time of year to pull out the Ektar.
Fujifilm Velvia — Strong, saturated colors that look incredible when you get that positive slide back from development. Any slide film will look great but I’ve had a lot of success with Velvia.
Kodak Gold — I use Kodak Gold all year round. The colors are vibrant, fairly fine grain but enough to make you love it, very sharp, and consistent time and time again. An easy go-to for any situation.
So, grab a roll, get outside, and make the most of the season. What film are you loading in your camera this fall?
