Almost a month late posting these. So f*cking what.

Sometimes the artist behind the camera needs a f*cking minute, too. To breathe. To reset. To remember why they picked the camera up in the first place.

Coming back to these frames reminded me.

Distinct + Baby Ebony from The Free Show, 10.3.26. Finally making it out of my hard drive. 📸

Between the day job, client work, editing, and life, I’ve been stretched thin. And honestly, I’ve been debating whether to keep building Pixels and Peeps or hang it up. It’s hard to feel like you’re moving forward when you’re always catching up.

Then I go through photos like these and remember how much I love being there, camera in hand, documenting this music community.

Still figuring out the balance. Still have work I’m proud to share. These are part of that.

Been trying to find the full copy of my Master’s thesis.

P&P’s name came to be after asking my wife and Kaden what I should name a business if I ever started one. This was when I was getting my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.

Then this thesis solidified my idea for who my potential clients and business model would encompass.

I wasn’t a photographer, videographer, or drone pilot.

Just a Gen X husband and dad that wanted to build something of his own to support his family and help other small businesses do the same.

So after taking on a new role with a retailer I was lucky enough to use my leadership skills to land some nice bonuses, which funded Pixels and Peeps in 2019.

No here sits P&P. Still looking to grow revenue, but for sure already laid the groundwork with meaningful connections within the Indy market.

Pa would’ve been 93 today.

Hard to believe you’re not here with us, but lucky to have you for all those years.

Been putting off any milestones since we lost him because celebrating without him just doesn’t seem right. Always wanted to know how everybody was doing, how my work was going, and shaking his head at our government.

Be sure to spend time with friends and family.

Carmel Diwali 2026 was more than just incredible food. It was a celebration of culture, community, energy, and bringing people together.
