🩷 Behind every breast cancer survivor is a story of strength, courage, heartbreak, and a fight that most of us will never fully understand. 🎀

Today, I have the honor of sharing the story of someone who has become more than just a face in front of my camera. She has become a friend. 🥹🩷

At just 26 years old, in February 2018, she discovered a lump that seemed to appear overnight. With absolutely no family history of breast cancer, the diagnosis of Stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma came as a complete shock.

What followed was 10 months of challenges that no one should ever have to face.

A biopsy infection. A double mastectomy. The devastating news that her cancer had an extremely high risk of recurrence. Months of chemotherapy. More infections. The removal of her port. A hospitalization for a ruptured gallbladder while her immune system was severely weakened. Multiple reconstruction surgeries. And five years of hormone-suppressing therapy.

And somehow, through all of that, she continued working. She continued fighting. She continued showing up.

One thing she told me really stuck with me:

“Looking back, I still don’t understand how I survived it all while still working. I’m just happy to say I made it to the other side where most people don’t even know if I don’t tell them.”

And that right there is why sharing these stories matters. 🩷

You never truly know what someone has been through just by looking at them. You don’t see the surgeries, the treatments, the fear, the exhaustion, or the battles they’ve fought behind closed doors.

When I started offering these breast cancer awareness sessions, I knew they would be special. But I never imagined the friendships I would make or how deeply these women’s stories would touch my heart.

She is more than a survivor. She is a reminder that strength doesn’t always have to be visible to be extraordinary.

I’m so incredibly thankful that photography brought us together and that she trusted me not only to capture her beauty but also to share her journey.

Thank you for allowing me to tell a small part of your story. I’m so grateful to call you my friend. 🥹🩷

This is why I do what I do. These aren’t just pictures. These are stories worth telling.

👻🖤 A little spooky, a little creepy, and a WHOLE lot of creativity! 🎃📸

I’ve been having SO much fun lately playing around with different presets, backgrounds, lighting, and effects in Photoshop, and I just had to share some of the results! 😍

I’ve also been experimenting with AI-assisted editing to help create different backgrounds, spooky atmospheres, and effects that bring a whole new vibe to my photos! 🖤

AI is becoming another creative tool in photography, and I’m enjoying learning how to incorporate it into my editing process. The original photography is still mine, but it’s been fun seeing how different backgrounds, lighting, and creative ideas can completely transform the mood of an image!

I’m usually known for my bright, colorful, and joyful editing style, but sometimes it’s fun to step outside my comfort zone and explore something darker and moodier! 🔪🩸

I’m still learning, still growing, and still experimenting! Photography is an art, and I love finding new ways to be creative with it. Not every edit has to be traditional, and sometimes it’s just FUN to see what you can create!

These spooky sessions have been the perfect opportunity to let my imagination run wild! 👻

When I say I have props for your senior sessions, I mean I have props AS BIG AS TRUCKS… LITERALLY! 🛻😂

I am OBSESSED with how these turned out!! The confidence, the outfit, the poses, the vintage truck… EVERYTHING about this session was a whole VIBE! 🔥😍

One thing about me, I LOVE getting creative with my seniors! Whether you want something classy, country, sporty, edgy, or completely out of the box, I’m ALWAYS down to bring your vision to life!

📸❤️ WHEN LIFE COMES FULL CIRCLE! ❤️📸

This family session was a little extra special to me! 🥹🫶

It’s not every day you get to photograph someone who was once YOUR coach growing up! 🏀❤️

And to make it even sweeter, I grew up playing sports alongside his daughters! From sharing the court and making memories growing up to now having them in front of my camera for family pictures… HOW COOL IS THAT?! 😍

It’s moments like these that remind me just how much I love what I do. Photography isn’t always about meeting new people. Sometimes it’s about reconnecting with people who were part of your life long before you ever picked up a camera! 🥹📸
