Hello and welcome to my website! I am a custom portrait photographer located in Ingleside, IL, serving Lake and McHenry Counties and Southern Wisconsin.

Story Telling Portrait Photographer ~ Since 2012, Caryn Anne Photography has photographed everything from big busy families, newborns that are just a few hours old, a preschool sports league and documenting all the little details on your wedding day. Clients who book with C Red Photos have a customized portrait experience that includes creative and personalized sessions tailored to fit your needs.

I guess you could say it all started when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old and distinctly remember opening the back of my mom's 35mm film camera. Fascinated with how memories were captured onto the screen, I wanted to see how it worked! I was soon given my own camera so that I did not ruin any more photos. It wasn't long before everyone relied on my camera as I was the only one taking pictures at family gatherings. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and spend my days working in an elementary school with young children with various special needs. I have a passion for photography and hope to capture the unforgettable memories that you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.

Yesterday was our annual visit to the sunflower fields! Kids were grumpy, weeds were tall, bugs were crazy, but we still managed to get a few good pictures!

It's a good thing we got together for these maternity photos when we did - both babies were delivered within a week of these images!!

These two mommas have been best friends for some time - and then found out they were both expecting boys with the exact same due date!!

This beautiful sunflower field will be in full bloom by the end of the month! This is a popular family photo spot so plan on a session early in the season, otherwise it gets really busy and that will make social distancing - and portraits - difficult.

This big sister could not stop kissing her new baby! These two are going to grow up to be the best of friends.

This session was my first official session since quarantine. Social distancing measures were in place and I sure missed the baby snuggles - but mama did a great job with the wrap and posing the baby!

Last weekend B+R celebrated their love and marriage on a crisp winter day. The sun was shining and the day went off without a hitch! B+R gathered with their friends and attendants before the wedding, with shots of tequila and personalized Funko POP! characters. R wore her grandmother's wedding gown and made most of B's clothes for the ceremony. A ceremony with the perfect blend of sentiment and humor, followed by a night of comfort food for dinner. Oh and friends and family dancing and hula hooping the night away!
