Power is still out. I’m hoping we get it back soon since we see crews in our area but ETA updated until 9:15pm tomorrow so we are over here hoping it’s a typo lol. Thank you all for your patience with me and these delays!!!

⚡ Well, today’s editing assistant is apparently a flashlight. ⚡

We are currently without power, so responses, editing, and gallery deliveries may be a little slower than usual until electricity is restored.

In the meantime, a huge thank you goes out to the crews working tirelessly to clear roads, repair lines, and restore power to our communities. Please give them plenty of room to work and stay clear of any downed power lines.

I’ll be back behind the camera and computer as soon as the lights come back on. Until then, I’m keeping batteries charged, my computer unplugged and hoping for the best. 😊

📸 Scheduling Update 📸

I can't believe I'm saying this already, but my June and July calendar is officially FULL! 🥹❤️

To everyone who has booked a session, trusted me to capture your memories, referred friends and family, or supported my small business in any way—thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know.

As we head into summer, my kiddos' schedules are keeping me extra busy, so my availability for August and September is becoming very limited. At this time, I only have a handful of weekday evening appointments remaining.

👶 Newborn families: My June and July newborn availability is also completely booked. I only have a couple of newborn openings remaining each month for the rest of 2026, so if you're expecting and hoping to reserve a spot, please reach out as soon as possible. Due dates are always welcomed!

If you've been thinking about booking a family, milestone, maternity, couple, senior, or newborn session, I would encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later so we can get something on the calendar.

Not every day you get the chance to fly in a hot air balloon! 🎈

We were able to take flight this morning, and what an incredible experience it was. 🥰

A huge thank you to Pilot Tom for taking me up in the sky and to the Frontier Days Committee for this amazing opportunity. It’s definitely a morning I won’t forget!

Throwing this out there to anyone in the Carson City MI area or who would want to travel! If you been to the studio you know I’ve been going through ALL the things lol. I’ll have a lot of it at my family’s yard sale THIS Thursday and Friday 8-5PM. Whatever doesn’t sell I’ll bring back to the studio if you aren’t able to make it and are interested! I have SOOO many name brand backdrops I’m getting rid of 🥰. There will be soooo many goodies in there for any photographer for those who follow me on here ❤️

✨ 9 Years ✨
This month marks 9 years of Claire Elizabeth Photography, and honestly, it's hard to put into words what that means to me.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think this little photography business would grow into my full-time career. What started as a hobby and a creative outlet has become something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of capturing so many special moments—welcoming new babies, documenting family connections, celebrating milestones, and creating a safe, comfortable space where everyone feels welcome, including those with special needs and their families. Watching families grow and being trusted to preserve those memories is something I will never take for granted.

This journey hasn't always been easy. There have been challenges, growing pains, moments of doubt, and plenty of late nights. But through it all, you've continued to support, trust, and believe in me.

What many people may not realize is that your support has done so much more than help me build a business. It has allowed me the flexibility to be present for my own family—to attend appointments, school events, therapies, and all of the little moments that mean so much. As a mom, that is a gift I can never fully express my gratitude for.

Because of you, I get to do what I love while also being there for the people I love most.

Nine years later, I'm still the photographer, editor, marketer, accountant, social media manager, scheduler, equipment manager, problem solver, and occasional crier... and honestly, I wouldn't trade it for the world. ❤️

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for choosing me, recommending me, sharing my work, cheering me on, and trusting me with your memories. Thank you for supporting not only my dream, but my family as well.

Nine years later, I am still in awe that this is my reality, and I am so incredibly grateful for every single one of you.
