Over many many years I have made the trip with customers to a farm on Croel Road. Sometimes I would give them some notice sometimes hardly any at all. No matter what and even if I told them not to worry about anything or do anything special, they always did. The yard was always perfectly mowed, landscaping immaculate and flowers beautiful. The llamas, goat and dog were always spiffed up too. They never asked or expected anything in return. From their perch on the deck or a window in the sun room I think they enjoyed watching me work with everyone from a teenage boy, a wild and crazy toddler to an impatient dad.
I grew as a photographer over the years on their property and will forever be grateful to them for providing such a perfect backdrop to my career. For being my lawn crew, changing room and sometimes my daycare. They always welcomed me and my chaos in as I carried furniture and equipment down hills, into fields and into the same pasture as their animals.
My thoughts and prayers are with Anne as her husband Tim lost his battle with cancer this week. You will both always have a special place in my heart for being so supportive. Rest in peace Tim.
