🚩 I’m going to get emotionally invested in your wedding.
🚩 I will absolutely tear up during the moments that get me.
🚩 Sneak peeks within 48 hours because I’m just as impatient to see them as you are.
🚩 If the light gets GOOD, we’re taking advantage of it.
🚩 I’m watching for the little moments happening when nobody thinks I’m looking.
🚩 Your dress will be fluffed, veil fixed, bouquet carried — whatever needs to happen.

I’ve been working on something new lately… and I think I’m falling in love with it. 🥹🤎

I wanted to create an edit that felt warm, nostalgic, imperfect and a little more like film — like photographs you’d pull out of an old box years from now and immediately be taken back to that season of your life.

Part of what I love about it is being able to bring that film-inspired feeling into a gallery without having to wait for rolls to be developed or adding the cost of film to every session. The nostalgia of film, but photographed digitally and delivered right alongside the rest of your gallery.

I slipped a few of the new edits into Karli’s family gallery to see what she thought… and these were the ones she picked. 🥹

Then another client started gravitating toward the same look throughout her engagement gallery, too.

Soooo maybe I’m onto something. 🤎

Still testing. Still tweaking. But I think I’m finally finding the direction I’ve been trying to get to. 🥹🥹

Any film-loving photographers want to help me pressure test a preset? 👀

I’ve been working on building my own film-inspired preset from scratch, and I’ve finally gotten it to a point where I really love what it’s doing on my work. Before I keep tweaking it though, I want to see how it handles completely different cameras, lighting situations, skin tones, locations, etc.

I’m looking for a few photographers who genuinely love that nostalgic, warm, slightly imperfect 35mm/film look and would be willing to throw it on some of their RAWs.

I don’t just want “I love it!” 😂 I want you to try to break it. Tell me where the colors get weird, where skin goes wonky, if whites get muddy, greens look bad, shadows fall apart—whatever you notice.

Feel free to adjust WB + exposure for your individual images, but otherwise I’d love to see what it does straight out of the gate.

Monday evening spent doing what I love 🤎📸

Got to photograph the sweetest engagement session at The Bentley today — and even brought out the 35mm for a few frames 🎞️

There’s just something about a beautiful old building, two people in love, and getting to document it all on digital + film. Now comes the hardest part… waiting to see how those film scans turn out 🥹🤍

Now that she’s officially Mrs. Corley-Lopez, I can finally share some of my favorites from Emily’s bridal session. 🤍

There’s something so special about getting to photograph a bride in the quiet before the wedding day — before the nerves, the happy tears, the dancing and all the beautiful chaos. Just her, her dress, and this little season of anticipation before everything changes.

Emily, you made the most beautiful bride, and keeping these tucked away until after the wedding was HARD. 🤍

Some weddings give you beautiful photos, and
some give you people you’re genuinely grateful crossed your path. 🤍

One of the sweetest and most unexpected parts of this job has been the friendships it’s given me. I’ve walked into so many wedding days as “the photographer” and somehow walked away with brides I still talk to, laugh with, keep up with, and genuinely consider friends long after their galleries have been delivered.

And Emily has absolutely become one of those people.

Somewhere between the planning, engagement pictures, all the conversations, laughing, and everything that comes with getting to a wedding day, you became so much more than one of my brides. You became my friend.

Getting to watch you marry your best friend today felt a little different because of that. I wasn’t just documenting another wedding day. I was watching someone I’ve grown to love step into one of the biggest days of her life, and getting to be there for it is something I’ll always be grateful for.

Photography has given me so much more than a career. It has brought some truly special people into my life, and I hope every one of my past, present, and future brides knows that I’m rooting for you long after the dress is put away and your gallery is delivered. 🤍

And Em… YOU DID IT. You’re MARRIED!!! 😭🤍
