The Neo Wilson Memorial Railway aims to buy the rolling stock from the Toonerville Trolley, which includes nine passenger cars, three flat cars, three locomotives and a fuel car. Wilson says they’re trying to raise $100,000 to buy the trolley and cover expenses. They’ve raised $20,000 so far.

The Toonerville Trolley first operated in 1927, and the Neo Wilson Memorial Railway hopes to keep it rolling on U.P. tracks.

I got to pull the throttle on this Porter Steam Locomotive at the Neo Wilson Memorial Railway in Skandia, MI. This Locomotive will be on display June 10 at the Texas Roadhouse in Marquette, MI.

This Yooper near Gwinn, MI built a railroad track on his property and owns a steam locomotive.. He's near completion of the mile long track, but for now he loops around the pond.

It won't be long before the Neo Wilson Memorial Railway is open to the public..
