With Illuminations coming to an end this year, it felt right to visit some older photos of the show. I’ll always have fond memories of it. It was the first fireworks show I’d ever photographed and I’d seen it over span of 8 years. The view involving Japan’s Torri gate in the foreground is always a classic composition and resonates with me even more so now after visiting the real one in Japan last year.

Epcot’s 2016 Flower and Garden Festival Comes to an end this weekend. Did you get to check it out this year? It’s my favorite time to visit Epcot! The main entrance shot with the main topiary display is always high on my list of photographs to take each year I attend this colorful festival. This year it was Daisy, and Donald Duck along with his 3 nephews Huey Dewy and Louie. I’ll have a photo of that display up soon!

I’ve been having a lot of fun exploring new angles now that I have a handy dandy Gorillapod that’ll hold the weight of my D810 and the Nikon 14-24 lens and enable low angles such as this. I used 3 shots here focused at different points and focus stacked them together in Photoshop. It’s not a technique I commonly use so I know I have room for improvement. Carsland at night is just..awesome.

Red Car Trolley Mickey at Disney California Adventure! It's hard to believe I shot this almost three years ago.. It was the very first time I ever visited the Disneyland Resort! Now, I see the show all the time! Like..today in fact! But this is still my favorite to date.

Sorry about the inactivity posting photos. I’m still trying to settle in here in California, so photo editing has taken a backseat. That said, I’ve been regularly heading to the Disneyland Resort at least once a week for the past 3 months (has it really been 3 months?!) since moving to Orange County taking a ton of photographs.

Anyway, tonight’s shot comes from the brand Spankin’ new Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters in Carsland! It just opened this past Monday. I had the chance to ride this twice tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it with a smile on my face each time! Luigi’s cousins from Carsoli have come to Radiator Springs to Sing and Dance! At the end, they spin fairly quickly here creating these light trails with this long exposure.
