So many beautiful, wonderful and exciting things happened for my little business this year. We owe such enormous thanks to incredible clients for every bit of it!
From July on, our days were framed by deep grief as we navigated the sudden and unexpected loss of Kyle’s amazing Dad. As much as I wanted to run away from everything to process how much our lives had changed, it was diving into my work and spending time with your loving families that ultimately carried us through. Thank you to those who held space for our challenges and brought extra compassion to your sessions.
You gave us the biggest July, August, September and October I’ve ever had! It was really interesting timing with what we had going on in our personal lives, but in the end, I think staying busy and focused saved me in a lot of ways.
I photographed around 100 family sessions in 2022, several dozen seniors, a handful of weddings + special elopements/events and something like 150 individual corporate headshots! I’ll never catch up on sharing all that happened, but at least want to drop a few smiles in where I can. More to come, here and there, in the days or weeks ahead.
