Fellow photographers: if you're shooting with smoke bombs, be safe and responsible! Always have an assistant ready to react, carefully consider the location you're using so you're not in the middle of a dry ass field during a burn ban, and have a working fire extinguisher there!
This is a smoke bomb direct order from a reputable brand, used shortly after shipping so no unsafe storage affecting it. Some of them just misfire. I'm sure there's a whole ass explanation behind it and a lot more useful advice than I can give, but if you just follow basic safety you'll be fine. There's a reason we're standing in a snow field, with an assistant setting the bombs off rather than the client or myself, with a fire extinguisher at the ready (out of shot). You don't want your model getting hurt, or panicking and tossing it into a dry bush.
Don't be a du***ss. Don't set forests and entire states on fire. Be safe. ♥️
