Summer is just around the corner. I can’t wait for the long, hot days hiking in the mountains, swimming in the alpine lakes, and sitting around the campfire with some friends.

Spring Days in Europe.
My truck’s in the shop, it’s raining in Wyoming, and I’m thinking about spring days backpacking through Europe—from the tulip gardens in the Netherlands to the beaches of Spain and the rolling hills of Ireland. Hoping to get back overseas soon.

A Day in Iceland.
Reminiscing on the day my friend Brandon and I had a 25-hour layover in Iceland. We took full advantage of our long but short journey to a bucket-list country. We got off the plane, rented a tiny car, drove all the way to Skógafoss and slept in the car for an hour before going out to explore. It was a short-lived time in the country but enough to make me wish I was back there right now.

The Mellow Days of Winter.
It’s been an odd winter of abnormally warm temperatures and lack of snow. It’s felt like spring for a long time, and it’s made me ready for those long, hot summer days running around the valley.

A Frosty Purple Morning.
The 20 minutes of blue hour before sunrise is such a calming moment anywhere, but here in the Tetons, it’s unlike anything else. The soft pinks, purples, and blues contrasted with the snow covered peaks make any early morning wake-up so relaxing.

Tetons Peaks Under the Northern Lights.
Last night’s northern light show was some of the best I’ve ever witnessed. The red and green colors were visible with the naked eye and constantly shifting throughout the sky. Just one of those things that will never get old!

Final Days of Fall.
The fall offseason has been spent traveling all around seeing colors from the Tetons, Sierras and all the way back home to Minnesota. Time to relax back before winter season starts back in Wyoming.

Cruising Through Fall Colors.
Waking up to go sit down in front the the mountains with my cup of coffee, listening to the elk bugle near by and watching the clouds turn pink around the Tetons will be a core memory for sure.
Thanks to for my new chair, I no longer have to sit in the dirt or on top of sage brush during my morning get away.

A foggy sunrise with a new “friend” 🦊.
Went for a sunrise drive today but with thick fog in the valley I had to find some elevation. I ended up having a visitor come say hello while I was drinking my coffee. Unfortunately he turned out to be an as***le and pi**ed on my camera bag….
