With the upcoming school year approaching I’m excited to see all the kids pop out in their seasons and go hard! I had so much fun learning and being booked for Media Day’s and being asked to come out to games and capture your kids do what they love in their respective sports last year. I’m trying something different and putting myself out there to help highlight all these talented individuals I’ve gotten to see play so if anybody is interested feel free to reach out and let’s talk about it!

As a photographer it’s been interesting trying to find which avenue is for me. I’ve dibbled and dabbled in this and that and I still will, but something about sports photography ignites a spark in me that make picking up my camera so much more exciting!

I first got into sports photography by bringing my camera to my son’s basketball games and each game I constantly try to perfect my craft and I must say I’m pretty great at it which led me to doing some photos last year and it was a challenge at first and nerve wrecking, but one I settled into my groove it became more enjoyable versus pressure to deliver.

As I’ve taken a step back due to being a full time nurse, I’ve decided to ease myself back in by teaching myself some new things because as us photographers know, there is ALWAYS something new to learn to help better our businesses and I look forward to what’s to come.
