Deep Water Soloing in Greece ||
Sailed around the Ionian Sea with not long ago. An old friend and mentor invited us on his boat for a few days—no way we were turning that down. We brought climbing shoes, a chalk bag, and zero expectations. No beta. No plan.

But over four days, we found towering walls, sea caves, perfect limestone, and deep blue water. It was wild, beautiful, and sketchy. Took the biggest fall of my life—check the last photo. Already scheming a return trip.

About skiing Thor Peak || Canoe to camp to ski with and . An epicly long day across multiple bodies of water, schwacking through dense grizzly bear country, a sketchy river crossing, and then up 5k feet of scree and rock to one of the more remote and taller peaks in the Tetons — all to, well, for me at least, downclimb.

I normally pride myself on skiing the things I photograph, but I wasn’t feeling it this day. It was steep — proper steep — riddled with rocks, double fall line, with a mix of rotten snow and bulletproof ice, all hanging over a thousand-foot cliff. I downclimbed 90% of the line. I’ve never seen have to try so hard — side-stepping with skis on while swinging ice tools into bulletproof ice. If you’re trying to make sense of it, it doesn’t make sense. I skied just enough to make it to the massive cliff, then we downclimbed as much of the cliff as we could until reaching an anchor, and rappelled through cascading water.

From there, we scree skied a couple thousand feet, schwacked back through grizz country, then paddled two lakes in the dark while it snowed. 18 hours of chaos. But damn, it was fun. Mostly.

Sky Running || Went for a backyard run the other day with up the E. Ridge of Buck. Blending the line between running, climbing and scrambling will never get old. Not to mention the wildflowers are going off up high.

The Incredible Hulk || Alpine season is well underway, and I’m looking forward to long days high off the deck - slightly runout, slightly gripped, and most definitely dehydrated. Here’s a frame of styling Sunspot Dihedral last season. Dream team on a dream line.

Steep, Exposed, and in the Dark || I’m really proud to share this collection—what feels like the culmination of putting in days and years of skiing, and the challenge of bringing a camera into these wild places to capture it all. It’s what I love most—doing the thing and documenting it.

This is one of the more serious ski lines in Grand Teton National Park—two rappels drop you into a 2,500 ft, 50-degree couloir with exposure the whole way and an ice bulge at the bottom to navigate.

I wouldn’t want to rap into this in the dark with just anyone and a big shout out to the team for pulling it off. crushed capturing video , and absolutely ripping on skis, for making it all happen and for the episode edit that is now live on YouTube. Thanks for giving these a look—means the world to me.

Life is Pain Au Chocolat || One world-class steep skier, a touch of bluebird sky, a dash of sun flare, and a flick of the rope for garnish. Sure, it’s no pain au chocolat recipe, but it’s just as sweet. Still shivering thinking about waiting for the sun to crest and it all to come together.
