Growing Up Grizzly—For grizzly bear cubs of the year, the safest place in the world is right beside — or under — mom.
These two spent the evening tucked close to her, walking beneath her legs, following her tracks, and tumbling through the snow between lessons (see last pic!). Grizzly cubs emerge in spring tiny, curious, and completely dependent on mom. For the next couple of years, she’ll teach them how to travel, forage, stay safe, and navigate a wild world.
Grateful for a small glimpse into the earliest days of these grizzlies’ lives. May you stay safe, grow big & thrive!
