Do you ever wonder if you’ll get back to doing the things you love, instead of just getting through the day?
When you’ve been struggling for a long time, it can be hard to picture that. You miss doing the things that used to make you feel like yourself.
I spent years recovering after getting sick from mold. I could barely walk. Work was about all I could manage. Now I’m back outside in Grand Teton with my camera, doing something I love again.
I share that because you might be going through something right now that’s kept you from the things you love.
Please don’t give up on yourself. Needing more time or help doesn’t mean you’ve failed. You don’t have to get your whole life back in one day.
Maybe there’s a place you’ve been wanting to return to or something you miss doing. Keep a little room for that, even if you’re not ready yet.
We’ve reached 13,000 followers across Facebook and Instagram. Thank you for being here, for your comments, and for taking time out of your day to enjoy these animals with me.
Whether you’ve been here for years or just found this page, I hope the photos give you something to smile about. Especially on the days when you can’t get outside yourself.
And I hope you get more chances to do whatever makes you feel the way being outside with these animals makes me feel.
You deserve that, too.
