It's been 5yrs. since my Newborn Session with this little beauty. Marley and her mom, Shannon, are the essence of sweet sunshine. I cannot get enough of Marley's contagious, joyful smile. It was such fun to watch her blossom in all of her joy, silliness, fiery spirit, sass and sweetness.
My absolute favorite thing about photography is capturing all of a child's unfiltered and unbridled joy, happiness, silliness and full of life, care free personality. Thank you, Marley, for trusting me to capture your precious, silly, joyful heart! You are pure sunshine just like your mom, and my heart is full from your joy spilling over to me. Until next time...

WARNING: This little cutie will induce squishy baby brain, force uncontrollable smiling, and melt your heart in seconds. I can't even look at him without smiling. It has been the most fun adventure watching Micah grow from the cutest belly bump ever (seriously Lauren, you were the cutest preg ever!), to Day 1 arrival and now to 3 mos. old. Seeing him grow, change and develop is like watching a miracle in progress and has been such a sweet blessing! Lauren and Caleb, I can't thank you enough for letting us be a small part of your growing family! We feel like it's us growing, even though he's not ours, because we keep adopting new nieces and nephews, and now Micah! The smile he can put on my face and the conversations we've had, the number of times he's puked on me... I just can't get enough of this cute little nugget! He stole the first half of my heart with one little grin, and then snatched the whole thing while talking to me, telling me some amazing story. I didn't have a prayer, I was a goner! I think my exact words were, "I want one of these, just like him!" Ha! Oh, such powerful cuteness! :) I'll gladly be wrapped around his little fingers as long as I can! I know I'm not the only one...I feel for his grandparents, aunts, uncles, even Caleb's track team...I'm sure they're all wrapped!
I'm thankful for each moment I get to capture of this little one's life and growing personality. I can't wait to see who the Lord has created him to be, and the many ways He will glorify Himself through his life in the years to come. Thank you Caleb and Lauren, again, for letting me be a part of your joy. Joy shared is a gift from God! You have a precious little gift in Micah.

There is something sweet about close knit southern families... the pride and joy that beams from a grandparent's eyes as they watch their grandkids grow. The way that loving grandparents come alongside and help, babysitting, teaching, investing, training or growing a pizza business. The smile that spreads across a parent's face, as they watch their own parents loving their children. Seeing all the different personalities come together and become one family, laughing, playing, caring for one another...family is a precious gift from God, and this family is one of the sweetest! I may be a little partial because from this family comes one of my closest best friends, our close couple friends and their two boys, which are my adopted nephews...only slight partiality! ;) The Ewings are a precious family to me as well as many others. The love and joy they share between one another was a blessing to capture.
Mama Lane and Mr. Ewing, the Lord has blessed you with precious kids and grandkids. Thank you for letting me share in a fun family day with you, as you enjoy every second of the gift God has given. I praise His Name for you and your family! My life is enriched and sweeter because of y'all. I love y'all and thank you for sharing your gift of family with me!

Sometimes catching up on session posting is one of the most fun things! I get to go back and enjoy memories and celebrate them all over again. I'm enjoying posting these because 1. Julia is coming back and I've missed her in our home, Yey, welcome back home-away-from-home! 2. She is such a beautiful lady, from her swimmer fingers tips, to her 1/2 marathon runner toes, to her sweet and godly, God-fearing honest heart. I love this girl with all my heart! The Lord has blessed me with this one and her family, as I claim them as my own. She's my SiSteR in every since, bound by the Spirit and loved from deep within my heart! Congratulations again on your graduation... I cannot wait to see the wonderful things the Lord does in your heart and life. He is working into you amazing, delightfulness preparing you for adventures and great things for Him, and I hope I'm there to enjoy you as you grow! I love you much SiSSeR, you are my most beautiful graduate!

I love EVERYTHING about fresh, newborn squishy babies! It's a struggle to adequately express my excitement of capturing this one day old newborn! It has been such joy along the way...capturing baby announcement pics with pumpkins in the Fall, watching you both prepare for this day, finding out he's a boy, the fun of watching your belly grow, squirm and roll from the life inside. And now he's here! I love his smell, the sounds he makes, the cute faces that come out of nowhere, the smile he let me capture, the way he's perfectly at home in your arms, how snuggly he is, the way you look at him with smitten admiration and love, the miracle of pregnancy and birth, the amazing way God created our bodies to grow new life, how amazing and beautiful you look one day after giving birth! Oh the details of your new little love...his tiny nails, wispy head full of hair that makes a cute mohawk, tiny lips, fingers, big feet and long little body. I love the way you are such a natural mommy, loving him with everything you are. I love seeing the pride in both your eyes, so swept away and enamored, in love with your son. Lauren and Caleb, thank you for trusting me with such intimate moments and precious memories. I love you both and your growing little family, but enough of what I love... enjoy these images of your little love. Everyone, meet their handsome little Micah David Snyder...prepare to have your heart stolen!

This was my first time documenting a 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration, and can I just say, this was such a fun party! When a big family comes together from a love that has been growing for fifty years, laughter and fun are inevitable as old stories are recounted and new memories are made. The Atkinson family knows how to celebrate well, and how can you go wrong with good food, lots of family and Elvis?! The day was such fun and their love was celebrated fully! Madonna, your parents are precious and I enjoyed getting to know more of your family. Love you My Dear and thank you for inviting me to celebrate this blessing of a day with you!
