Sometimes we gotta remember how lucky we are❤️. And yes I am always honored when families ask about getting family photos while they’re here on vacation. Taking time out of their vacay to spend with me on the beach is amazing.

You don't have to know how to pose for your maternity photos. 🤍

Honestly, most of my clients tell me this before their session.

“I’m awkward in front of the camera.” (spoiler alert, so am I)

“I have no idea what to do with my hands.” (no one every does)

“I’m just not a picture person.” (you may not be, but your family is)

And that’s completely okay.

You don't need modeling experience. You don't need to know what looks good. And you definitely don't need to spend hours practicing poses in the mirror. 😂

That's my job.

I'll gently guide you through your session with simple prompts that give you something natural to do—walking together, snuggling, looking at each other, taking a moment with your belly, laughing, slowing down.

Because some of my favorite images aren't the perfectly posed ones.

They're the moments in between. ✨

I love mornings at this location and it did not disappoint for this precious newborn photoshoot last week.

What if you don't feel beautiful right now?

What if your body feels unfamiliar?

What if you're tired, swollen, uncomfortable, or just not feeling like the version of yourself you see in photos on Instagram?

What if you're thinking, “I don't know if I want maternity pictures because I don't feel like myself.”

I hear talk like this all the time. And I get it. I felt all of it with both of my pregnancies.

But, I want you to know something:

You don't have to feel confident before you book your session.

You don't have to feel like the most beautiful version of yourself every day.

You just have to show up.

I'll guide you through the rest.

I'll find the light.

I'll help you with posing.

I'll capture the little moments you might not even realize are happening.

And hopefully, when you see your images, you'll see what I see:

A woman growing a new life.

A mother becoming.

A family waiting for someone they've never even met yet.
