A little real-life check-in 🫣😂

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, it’s not because I’ve stopped photographing. Life has just been… chaotic. 😂

My 7-year-old has been home with me all summer, and let’s just say working for yourself doesn’t always mean you have more free time. 😂 He’s kept me on my toes! I also just got my 14-year-old back after she spent most of the summer with her dad, so we’ve been soaking up some time together before school starts.

I’ve still been behind the camera, just not behind my phone as much.

After one reschedule, we were determined to make Regan + Colton’s engagement session happen. We moved things earlier to try and beat the storm, and while we never got a drop of rain, those dark skies rolled in and gave us the most perfect, dramatic backdrop. 😍

Family sessions don’t have to feel like a chore. 🤍

Kids aren’t meant to sit still, and honestly… most dads would rather be anywhere else than standing in perfect poses. 😂

So we play. We explore. We laugh. I’ll grab a few poses if my clients want, but the magic always happens in between.
