I travelled to Indonesia to visit my friend and student Rocky Saputra. Unbeknownst to me, Rocky asked his friend and designer, Eggie Jasmin, to come up with several designs for a photo shoot. One of the models is the beautiful Kartika, hence became the title of the image. I used 4 lights for this image: two on the side, one on the back, and one on the front. This image got many gold and 1st place awards including the International Photographic Competition and a silver medal on the World Photographic Cup 2021.

Colors was the reason I got in to photography. I admired old movies in “technicolor”. Those films made colors pop. I’m very excited when a designer or body painter presents a concept with lots of colors. The colors on this image was exceptional. From the choice of props, to makeup and body painting, it was art. The complimentary colors of the image made it a symphony of music and colors.

We have some exciting news!!!

GO2PIX partnered with International Master Photographer Erich Caparas, Erich 3D , Master Erich Caparas Photography, to continue his Photography Legacy.

GO2PIX will bring back Master Erich amazing workshops and tutorials, accessible to all photographers and photography enthusiasts.

Back in 2019, Master Erich Caparas had a stroke that changed his life. It affected his speech and how he communicates with others. Because of this, he decided to retire from Photography.

In December of 2020, my Dad had a stroke too. I saw his struggle in trying to say something but he couldn't. That feeling of being stuck with your own body that's not cooperating with you. Now I understand better how Sir Erich feels.

Both of them are recovering well, Thank God!

I hate to see the skills and knowledge of Master Erich Caparas suddenly stop because of the stroke. We decided to partner together for his Legacy in this Photography World to continue despite his challenges.

With our help at GO2PIX, we will be his voice in his workshops, his hands, his eyes, and his protector. We will continue his Photography Legacy through our team and eventually with the help of GO2PIX AI Technology.

His skills and knowledge in Photography are the best in the world. We are so excited to share his expertise with all our GO2PIX Photographers and members of different Photography Associations.
