Some sessions stay with you long after the sun sets. 🌅
Last night, I had the honor of photographing an incredible military mama and her twins during a beautiful sunset session on the beach.

As I watched her chase little feet through the sand, scoop up hugs, and soak in every giggle, I couldn’t help but think about the strength she carries every single day. Balancing motherhood is no small feat, but doing it while her husband is deployed and serving our country takes a special kind of resilience.
Her twins were full of energy, laughter, and love—the kind of love that only siblings share. They played along the shoreline, wrapped their arms around their mama, and reminded us all that the little moments are often the biggest ones.
The sun may have been setting, but this season of life is one she’ll want to remember forever.

Apparently we’re describing our jobs in a way that sounds completely illegal... so here’s mine. 😂👇
🏖️ I lure families to the beach at sunset.
📸 I convince complete strangers to hug, cuddle, and laugh on command.
🌊 I encourage children to run wildly through the ocean while their parents cheer them on.
☀️ I chase people around with a camera until the sun disappears.
🤫 Then I edit the evidence and deliver it to their family and friends.
Somehow, nobody has called the authorities.
They just call it family photography. 😂

Memorial Day 🤍
Today we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. As a photographer, I’m constantly reminded how important it is to freeze the little moments — the hugs, the chaos, the laughter, the people we love most.
There’s something so meaningful about photographs… they become pieces of our story long after moments have passed. Today especially, I’m thinking of the families who hold onto photos and memories a little tighter.
Grateful for those who sacrificed everything so we can live these ordinary, beautiful days. 🇺🇸

Studio days don’t get much sweeter than this. Tail wags, paw shakes, happy smiles, and one very loved pup soaking up every second with his family.

These Pawportraits sessions are quickly becoming some of my favorite moments to capture — because our dogs really are family too.
