She’s not a regular mom, she’s a St. Johns Mom. 💁🏻‍♀️💋

Meet TAYLOR BERKOWITZ of The women’s community for St. Johns County and The Bar Societé 🖤From connecting local moms with the best of Northeast Florida to bringing women together through events, resources, and community, we love what these brands are all about! And we had SO much fun creating these looks for her branding session! 🔥

Now, can we talk about this lighting?! 😍 It’s been SO rainy and gloomy in Jacksonville lately, and the day of Taylor’s session was no exception.

One of the things photographers love most about our studio is all the beautiful natural light. But what happens when the sun doesn’t show up? We bring out the lights!

For this session, we used our continuous lighting, and I absolutely LOVE how these turned out!

Just because we’re known for our natural light doesn’t mean we need a sunny day to create beautiful photos! Our studio has continuous lighting available for renters to use, and we’re always happy to help you get everything set up.

Meet Glenda! 🏡

Glenda is a local realtor who came in ready to level up her social media, website, and print marketing. She booked glam with my studio beauty partner Jacksonville Wedding Hair & Makeup by Zulmarie right here at the studio before her session, so she walked onto set feeling confident and totally camera ready. (And can we talk about that red dress?! ❤️)

Here’s my favorite behind-the-scenes secret: while she’s in the makeup chair, I’m going through every outfit she brought, picking the best looks for each set, and getting every spot styled and lit. The second glam is done, we jump right in and move through the studio set by set. No wasted time means more outfits, more poses, and SO much more variety. Classic headshots, desk shots, keys in hand, For Sale sign, and of course a little Jaguars spirit because this is Duval. 🏈

Glenda, it was such a joy getting to know you. You look absolutely beautiful!

Meet Christabelle Miano, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC 🖤

Christabelle is a board-certified family nurse practitioner building her brand in aesthetic medicine, and she walked in knowing exactly what she wanted. Polished, but still warm. Professional, but still HER. Smiling, laughing, and letting you get to know the person behind the syringe.

To bring her vision to life, we leaned into intentional motion blur, gave the edits a slightly moodier tone, and added a touch of film-like grain to set the vibe. 🤌🏽

Say hi to Donna, founder of Women of Wellness 🌿

We met through business last year and have stayed in touch ever since, so when she reached out about brand photos, I was so excited.

If you haven’t heard of Women of Wellness, Donna brings women together for things like yoga, good conversation, and time to actually slow down. I love what she’s building here in Jacksonville, and I wanted her photos to feel the same way: relaxed, warm, and real.

We had the best time in the studio, and I’m so happy with how these turned out.

Meet Ana ❤️

Ana Lugo | Agente de Seguros started her branding session in the makeup chair with my studio beauty partner Zulmarie, owner of Jacksonville Wedding Hair & Makeup by Zulmarie , who has a gift for makeup that looks natural yet absolutely stunning. While Ana was getting glammed, I organized her outfits and set up each area of the studio, so once she was ready, we flowed right through everything. All of these images were captured in less than an hour! 🙌

Ana is a licensed insurance agent here in Jacksonville, and she’s just as kind as she looks in these photos. She goes beyond selling policies, taking the time to educate and guide every family she works with toward better health and financial security, in both English and Spanish. Oh she pretty!! New bench alert 🤍

We’re always rotating pieces in and out of the studio, and after years of collecting furniture, we’ve landed on this one. It’s replacing our classic wooden bench and our tufted settee, and it’s the perfect mix of both, we might even like it more than the two combined.

This bench is ideal for individual portraits, branding photography, family photos, extended family sessions, and holiday minis, and it’s going to look stunning with our Christmas sets this year.
