I hear conversations about imitation in the photography and creative industry all the time, and I think most creatives have experienced it in some way.

But the truth is, we all find inspiration somewhere.

We see reels, photos, concepts, trends, sets, poses, and ideas every single day that influence our creativity in one way or another. That’s part of being in a creative industry.

I think the important thing is remembering that people are inspired by work that stands out.

Nobody recreates something that didn’t make them feel something first.

So instead of letting it discourage you, choose to see it as motivation to keep growing, evolving, and creating.

At Jax Mini Sessions Studio, we know ball. 🏈

When my long-time friend & fantasy football rival asked me to capture sports portraits for her daughter, you already know we had to go all in. 🙌

This flag football session was SO much fun to create.

We’ve officially added artificial turf and faux stadium lights to our inventory and combined with our colored lighting and fog machine… the possibilities for sports portraits and media days are honestly so good.

Whether your athlete plays football, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, cheer, dance, or more, we can fully customize the session around their sport, personality, and team colors.

And the best part? Everything is indoors. No weather stress, no harsh Florida heat, and multiple dramatic looks all in one place.

For photographers renting the studio: sports setups like this can require anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour total for setup and cleanup depending on complexity, so please plan your rental time accordingly. All setup and takedown must happen within your booked rental window.
