Chapter 34.
This past year, I survived my first year of motherhood, lost 45 pounds, started choosing myself again, and began doing the hard work of healing after battling postpartum depression.
I’m learning that putting myself first doesn’t make me selfish. Taking up space doesn’t make me too much. And becoming a mother didn’t mean I had to lose the woman I was before.
After spending so much time simply trying to make it through, I’m finally putting myself back out there, rediscovering who I am, and falling in love with myself again.
34 feels like coming home to me. Not the old me, but a stronger, wiser version who knows she deserves to be cared for too.
Since birthdays are for feeling loved, here are a few ways you can celebrate me in all 5 love languages:
Receiving Gifts: Spoil the birthday girl a little. My wishlist is here:

cash app: $rayvoncreates
Words of Affirmation: Send me a birthday video! Bonus points if you include your favorite memory of us. You can also show my baby, Rayvon Creates, some love by leaving me a Google review.
Quality Time: Let’s have a friend date! Lunch, brunch, a walk in the park, or just some intentional time together.
Acts of Service: Support something I’ve poured my we heart into. Share your favorite Rayvon Creates post, recommend my business to someone, or book a makeup/photography session. That kind of support means more than you know.
Physical Touch: Respectfully... a nice birthday hug will suffice. Let’s not get carried away. 😂
Here’s to 34, healing, becoming, blooming, putting myself out there again, and choosing myself without apology. Thank ya'll for loving ya girl! ❤️
