I am starting to put together my schedule for the high school sports fall season.

I have team commitments as well as WNY Athletics commitments to work around, but I am booking for games for a $75/game “donation”, cash payment at the field is preferred but I will take Venmo payment. You will NOT get your photos unless I have received payment for the game you booked me for.

Senior parents, if you also are looking for senior portraits, I am also looking to book five seniors as a trial for a session similar to what I did with the Falconer soccer seniors last fall (see the attached photos). This style of session is open to ALL fall sports athletes These sessions will be $120 which gets you six unique shots, with one framed 8x10 print and the remaining five as 4x6 prints. I will only be taking five seniors this year as a trial - I can start doing these sessions in August if/when players get their jerseys.

Photos for all of these sessions (for now) will be distributed via Google Drive until I launch my new website.

I will be out of town August 12th-16th, so I will not be able to do those dates. I have a hockey tournament August 28th-30th in Jamestown that I may be able to work around depending on timing, but I would prefer not to book anything for that weekend so I can focus on the tournament.

I am looking forward to being back on the sidelines this year, and am excited to see everyone once again 🙂

It has been a busy summer for me - but I haven’t been quiet as far as the camera goes!

This summer marked a historic event for American railroading with Union Pacific’s “Big Boy” coming east. I took the opportunity to see it, along with plenty of other cool catches this summer.

Fall sports are fast approaching, and I’m super pumped to get back out on the sidelines again!

New changes will be coming for the upcoming season, I am hoping to roll everything out at the beginning of August. With how much I’ve grown in the last 2 years, the changes are necessary but hopefully will have a positive long term effect for how I conduct my business.

The biggest thrill for me is when I am able to invest in equipment to step up my game to be able to improve on different things.

B&H recently had a sale on these LED studio lights, which will be very helpful for media day shoots or other studio style shoots. They’ll work wonders for photos and video content!

A couple years ago, you could buy one of these hard drives for closer to $100, maybe even less if you were lucky.

Now, the prices on external storage to keep photo files backed up and safe is beyond insane. This profession is expensive as it is with cameras and equipment.

Most of us are paying for software (Adobe Lightroom in my case). Hard drives and even SD cards are outrageously priced now.

I have begun the process of removing my sports images from Flickr, as I will be using a new distribution method starting for fall sports this year.

The following albums are still up and will be available until next Friday, and then I am removing them from my Flickr page permanently.
