I realized yesterday just how much I've loved shooting video 😍

This already sold home was staged purposefully, lit in abundance and captured very MINDFUL, very DEMURE 😘

Before I shoot a video for a home I google to get a bit of an idea of what I will be capturing. Sometimes there are previous photos, other times theres not so I just show up and get creative on the spot. All listings are unique so I get to try new moves and different angles each time.

This one by far is one of my absolute favorites!

🚨Are you selling your used items on FB marketplace OR selling a major investment like a HOME?! 🫢 Lock in your professional Real Estate Photography shoot & start prepping w these 7 small actions! ✅

📈There is research that concludes that decluttering and prepping a home leads to quicker sales process. The National Association of Realtors data shows that “93% of real estate agents recommend that clients declutter their homes before putting them on the market”

1. Turn all lights on and open blinds. 💡
-Showcase your sconces, light fixtures & the natural light your listing brings in.
2. Hide things or declutter counters counters 🗑
-Too many things on counters/spaces can be distracting. Grab a basket and put unwanted items in it the basket (do this for each room)
3. Turn TVs off 📺
-Keep the attention on the home, not what was on at the time of shoot
4. Remove family portraits 🖼
-This is a recommendation for your sellers privacy and also to keep distractions at a minimum
5. Close closet doors 🚪
-Especially if theres a bunch of stuff in there
6. Remove political signage 🪧
-Dont let your viewpoints or values represented by political candidates be the reason a buyer doesnt want to live in your home (as ridiculous as this sounds, its real lmao)
7. Start prep a week or two before 📅
-For tackling ALL recommendations from “Prepping your home for a photoshoot” guide (comes w each RE photoshoot booking) I would advise to start a week or two before the shoot.

As time permits your photographer may dedicate a few minutes to do light staging at the shoot. DO NOT CONFUSE this. Our time is crucial and decluttering for you or your seller will jeopardize time parted for other shoots; please be mindful of this when scheduling.

** ARE YOU IN A PINCH?**
I get it! Some of us are currently living in the home we’re trying to sell. We have kids; we have dogs. We have 1, 2, or even 3 jobs. We don’t always have the time that we want to prepare for these things. If you can resonate with this, try to get AT LEAST the first 6 things done before your photographer arrives.
