It’s National Hummingbird Day! Here’s a little beauty from my backyard a couple weeks ago. Plant Turks Cap and they will come! I believe it’s a female Ruby Throated. I rarely see the males before October.

Make plans for Friday afternoon/evening with Vera’s Garden exhibit reception starting at 3 pm, then two-step over to the downtown gallery for First Friday Reception and see the work of another local photographer, Gary R Hook , as well as many other local artists. Stroll over to Mesquite Creek Outfitters where my Wolves are on exhibit while listening to live music on the courthouse lawn. Friday Fun!
