I found this email response to my instructor, from October 9, 2024,
It spells out my mission perfectly!
God set my mom and I, on a journey to help women who want to be more modest, do so, based on their body type, not just the "one-size-fits-all" kind of way everyone else is doing.
I realized, an ill-fitting bra is the source of a lot of the wardrobe malfunctions out there, and that is why we've opted to add bra fitting to our modesty package. Although, it will take me longer to finish the [Bra Fitting] Course, I have a female volunteer to be my bra fitting subject, to complete the assignments.
This journey still kinda freaks me out, but I have to remind myself that if we don't complete this vision, many women will continue to have a negative self image, and get dangerous surgeries (and some die) as a result. The media is pushing this "don't like yourself, this surgery will be the solution" mentality, instead of reaffirming their God-given beauty.
This has never been done before, sure, but there is a need for godly men to affirm women, instead of the idealized body shape that stems from the Greeks.
The way I would approach bra fitting, is: I would think of myself as a "Bra Doctor" I plan to wear the white gloves and have a female assistant (my mom) in the room at all times just like in the medical community.
Even I thought bra fitting would be weird, but, there are male doctors who are gynecologists and that's even weirder.
