This week, Matt had the privilege of guiding a group of professional naturalists on a day of birding around central Iowa's prairie potholes. As an added bonus, he and Kay Neumann of SOAR surprised the group with a young Bald Eagle that had been rehabilitated from lead poisoning for release back into the wild. Friends, tonight the Northern Lights are supposed to be visible from most of the northern half of the US tonight! Get to a place with the least amount of light pollution in the north sky and watch for the colored lights. Share any of your photos with us - we'd love to see 'em!
