Public Notice

The Louisville Water Company will be conducting leak detection surveys in select areas of Jeffersontown over the coming weeks.

If your neighborhood is included, you may see Louisville Water contractors working in the area. All technicians will wear identification badges identifying them as authorized Louisville Water contractors. They will never ask to enter your home or request information about your water bill.

As part of the survey, a technician may ask to briefly shut off your water to complete the inspection. Otherwise, your water service should not be interrupted. If Louisville Water infrastructure is located within a utility easement on your property, technicians may briefly access that area to perform their work.

Monday afternoon - Well that escalated quickly.. don’t be like these people. Turn around, don’t drown! The 4 lane divided highway is Hurstbourne Lane just north of Six Mile Lane in Jeffersontown, KY. Jeffersontown Public Works Department can be seen cleaning up floodwater debris under the Taylorsville Road “Viaduct”. ⚡️

🐾 Please keep your pets indoors, ensure gates and doors are secure, and make sure they have proper identification in case they become startled.

Remote Aerial LLC will be unavailable for lost pet drone searches through the holiday weekend and will resume operations on Monday, July 6.
