I spend my entire life making women feel fiercely confident in front of the lens, but it’s time I finally step out from behind it.

When I first started dreaming up my business, I pictured a cute, converted old gas station or a bustling Main Street storefront with a ton of character.
But the more I thought about the actual experience I wanted to give you, everything shifted. I didn't want a busy storefront where you felt exposed, rushed, or worried about finding parking.

I wanted to build a completely private, luxury sanctuary. A place where you could show up in your sweatpants, leave the chaos of the world at the door, and completely exhale. That is exactly why I built my studio right here in the quiet of rural NE Iowa.
But there is a lot more to the story behind the studio—including my own personal battle with the "waiting weight" and why I absolutely refuse to heavily retouch my clients into AI-generated supermodels. I laid it all out in my newest post: 5 Things You Didn't Know About Your Photographer.
