The drama of the wild captured in a split second.🐟 An osprey defending its catch while another moves in for the chase makes for an incredible action shot. Wildlife photography is all about patience, timing, and being ready for the unexpected.

One of the things I love most about photography is capturing places that still feel untouched by time. This aerial view of Tangier Island showcases the beauty of the harbor, working crab shacks, and the unique charm of this historic watermen’s community. 🌊🦀

Seeing it from above gives you a whole new appreciation for life on the Chesapeake Bay and the generations who have made their living from these waters.

Currently, the channel for accessing the harbor and dock area is filling with silt, making navigation difficult or even impossible in some areas. The dredging that usually takes place in the spring has been significantly delayed, and the Tangier community and many others are hoping it can be completed soon.

Front row seats to one of Iceland’s most iconic wildlife experiences. 📸 Atlantic puffins are full of personality, and photographing them in their natural habitat is always unforgettable. From dramatic landings to playful interactions, every moment is photo worthy.

Yellow crowned night herons are incredible hunters, often searching shallow marshes and wetlands for crabs and other small prey. Capturing moments like this is what wildlife photography is all about.

Not every landing is graceful… but it gets the job done 😄📸 This Snowy Egret comes in for a tricky touchdown, legs stretched wide as it navigates the branches below. It might look awkward, but it’s all part of the precision and control these birds rely on every day.

Sometimes the most entertaining moments are the ones you don’t expect!
