Joshua Tree National Park in southern California is a true playground for all the senses. From the dense forests of Joshua Trees to the intensely eroded boulders that are now routes to the unknown, there was no shortage of things to take in and explore. The home we stayed in was seriously wild and beautifully designed in the middle of the same desert and down the street from the entrance to the park. Hit me up if you ever go down there. You won’t regret it. 🫶🏻

Nothing quite like a good ole road trip across the desert. I absolutely love the contrast of the dead heat of Arizona transitioning to coastal, Southern California in a matter of about 7 hours in a car with good tunes. We were so lucky with timing of blooming cacti everywhere.

I captured some random photos along the way and it honestly lit a fire inside me. Can’t wait to share some others from Joshua Tree soon!

With outrageous anticipation, the revolution begins today! officially released his new album, Mutiny After Midnight, on physical media for the masses. This album has been described as country, rock, funk, and disco, with the simple goal - MAFA! Gather your friends, grab the vinyl, get out the disco balls and black lights, and freaking rock through these songs about the “dark state of the world and bright state of love”. 🕺🏻💃

So fortunate to have spent a week on this island, exploring the narrow, windy roads, the golden and black sand beaches, the majestic Petit and Gros Pitons, the volcanic geothermal areas, and interacting with the wildlife and incredibly friendly locals.

Soufrière is the sleepy home to the big Piton views 🌋, cacao plantations, and lovely, unspoiled beaches, while views of Rodney Bay from a treehouse up in the mountains couldn’t be beat. St. Lucia delivered a ridiculously relaxing trip that will not be forgotten.

I had few expectations and even less actual plans when I arrived in New Zealand. The entire experience was dreamy and fell into place just perfectly. The locals were beyond welcoming at each new town, the views were all straight from a calendar, the wildlife stole my attention and my heart, the early summer weather constantly changing but never unpleasant, and I just drove and explored - over 1,200 miles in total, taking it all in.

With no traffic lights, no high rises, and no more restaurant choices that I can count on my fingers, Molokai is the last frontier of the inhabited Hawaiian Islands. One must truly slow themselves down here and it certainly isn’t for everyone. The modern conveniences just aren’t there, and they won’t be there anytime soon, by design. This is about as untouched as it gets for Hawaii and it took a little getting used to. By the end of my trip, life at quarter speed was feeling pretty dang good. I enjoyed the lush east end of the island at Hālawa Valley; waterfalls, culture, and rainforest. This was a stark contrast to the desert and overgrazed conditions of the western half of the island, which was also home to some of the best isolated beaches on the island. Add a quaint town with such friendly people to the south and a historic l***r colony to the north and you have yourself some unique locations to take in.

Enjoy my photos that cover the diversity and simplicity of this island. A true walk back in time.
