God, I thank You for this man…for the gift of being his wife, and for the countless ways You have loved me through him. Thank You for the laughter that fills our home, the ordinary days that have become our life, and the years of memories I would never have known without him.
Thank You for the man Allen is, for the husband he is to me, and for the father he is to our girls. Thank You for the gifts You have placed in his hands and the heart You have given him to use them for others.
As he leaves for Papua this week, I pray that Your grace would rest upon him and the entire team. Go before them in every place they enter. Give them strength for the long days, wisdom in every decision, and compassion that does not grow weary. May the work of their hands bring healing, and may the love of Christ be felt in every person they serve.
Lord, would You take the gifts You have given Allen and multiply them far beyond what he could accomplish on his own. May those who receive care encounter not only skilled hands, but the kindness of a God who sees them, knows them, and loves them. And may many come to know You through the work You are doing in and through this team.
Thank You for the privilege of walking beside this man. May I never grow so familiar with the gift of him that I forget to give You thanks.
