Elijah’s second session gave us the chance to photograph him in two very different settings. We started at the Brownville Concert Series, where the indoor theater, stage lighting, and moody atmosphere created a really strong, dramatic look. It was my first true indoor shoot, and the setting fit Elijah perfectly. We also spent time at his high school football field, capturing photos with his marching band gear. That location brought in a completely different feel — open, familiar, and personal — and the contrast between the two spaces made the session come together really well.

Not everyone can say they caught a fish during their photo shoot—but Ty sure can! We spent a beautiful afternoon at the lake, full of laughs, golden light, and plenty of personality. I’ve loved getting to see his faith and confidence grow over the years through band and youth group—it made this session all the more meaningful.
