In my underwater era 🧜‍♀️

When I started photography 4 years ago my biggest goal (that often felt unattainable) was underwater portrait photography. Between a full time job, kids, weather, scheduling and just life in general, it felt like it wasn’t going to happen.

But over this past year I decided I don’t need to have a timeline for my goals. I was only setting myself up for disappointment. So I shifted my inner monologue and even if I can do a few sessions during season, then that’s good for me.

So excited to travel to learn and connect with other water photographers. Who’s some of your faves?

Growing and glowing ✨

When this soon to be mama booked with me she was so grateful I included a questionnaire and that got me thinking… other photographers don’t do this?!

I put so much effort in getting to know my clients as best as I can to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible and to create the best experience for them.

It’s the eyes for me.

I was editing this gallery and actually gasped when I saw how their eyes lined up!

This was my second session with this sweet fam and I think it might one be my favorite shots yet. Pure magic ✨

From meeting at the beach to sunrise photos with their girl.

I just love the 3 month stage. Everyone’s found their rhythm and I get to capture their actual personality.

The newborn phase is such a blur. It’s wayyy more demanding than anything you expected. But then they smile and reach for you and you just forget you haven’t slept in days.

It’s truly the best feeling in the world 💛
