I struggled lately with my style. I realized I struggled because I started comparing. Comparing is the thief of joy and you want to know what- those growing pains lead to more joy If you lean into it. Lean into the hard, lean into the not perfect. My girl and her daughter! One of those not perfect but perfectly fit for us nights. Who knew throwing rocks into an Alligator infested murky lagoon would make us bond. 🤣gotta love a child’s imagination.

It’s been so fun getting to photograph so many maternity sessions. I have about 6 newborns coming on up. A couple seniors about three weddings and about 5 families and a large party and guess what 2 births eeeekkk i am here for it whatever it is i am here. I am so so excited to be apart of peoples lives. These memories captured forever. A little glimpse into each persons happiness I struggle becuase I am changing up my style just slightly for a more timeless approach. Less fake more real. Less overly colored to more real life colors. Teaching my portrait sessions really got me thinking about the timelessness of a photo. Let’s start to be true to ourselves rather then following the crowd!!! And I’m dying for a Community- Connection- Content... I am setting up that, grandparents photos and portrait sessions so be on the look out

Good news people I’m coming out with a plan to help everyone with these sessions- It’s called the friends package. Find 5-20 friends that want them also. If you know me you know what you get- basically a 15 minute session color and black and white. We will come up with a date that works and better yet it will be mini session prices. Family, kiddos and single kids photos. It’s going to be fun. Also grandparents shoot- still in my pocket just trying to nail down location and date. 😍🙏🙌🏼

Saved these photos in the screensaver portion of my little highlights. Gotta love a new screensaver. And a week away to clear my mind. A man told me you won if you kiss your babies at night tell them you love them and take a moment for yourself. I swear I may write a damn book about my life. There were so many downs but it’s not about the downs its about how you handle those downs. Taking 100% responsibility in my life for my actions and my response to them is key. @ Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa

Cancer sucks. As I sit here and write this I think about how cancer has crept into so many of our lives. I have been thinking about opening up a place on my site for families who have been diagnosed with this. If you know me at all you know I have a heart that wants to give. As think through what people want when the first get diagnosed I think of memories. I want to be a safe spot for people a place where they can lean in and I can hold them up. As I spoke to Natalie she wanted nothing more than “I want to see my daughter look at me as her mommy and not someone who is sick. And someone she is scared of. To be able to hold Kingston without feeling weak” is this not the cry of every mom. In the upcoming weeks I will be releasing a form for people to nominate families who have recently be diagnosed with cancer. I will be choosing one family every month for a free session. Yup you heard me right. I don’t have much to give but I can give memories that could be forgotten. And I never want to forget the mementoes I have with my kiddos, my husband, my family. Thank you Natalie for being so damn strong- I miss my cousin Lani I miss my dear friend Trendi everyday Meghan who i met but once but felt so connected with but guess what memories of their light and love shine on longer than anything else. I can’t wait to give this hope to others.

To all you moms and dads out there. Sometimes it just sucks and it’s hard and it’s tiring and it’s sleepless nights and days of tears and weeping while your trying to be normal and just live but then for just a couple moments babe sleeps. With a tender touch a deep breath a kiss on the forehead for but a minute you fall back in love with all that is life. Getting there is tough but you did it. Mama you did it and forever you will be this person who does so many small things to hold this babe up without any recognition and to be honest it’s the most fulfilling thing in the world.
