Looking back at this wedding will always tickle my fancy — and Yalduz & Tony’s intimate elopement at the beautiful Wailea Beach Resort is one that still lives rent‑free in my heart.

It was my first wedding in coordination with the Wailea Beach Resort. That day was elegant and intimate.

Surrounded by their loved ones and the ocean just steps away, their celebration didn’t need anything extra. It was simple, heartfelt, and breathtaking — the kind of wedding that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with this work.

Celebrating Love and Family.

I have had the joy of photographing Cindy and Ray’s family since 2018, and it is always so meaningful to see their family grow and create new memories together.

This session combined two special occasions in one: a family portrait session with their two children and a wedding anniversary photo session for Cindy and Ray. It was a wonderful opportunity to capture updated family portraits while also celebrating the love, connection, and commitment that continue to anchor their family.

We captured fun, genuine moments with their two children, then set aside time for anniversary portraits of just the two of them.
It has been a privilege to photograph Cindy and Ray’s family over the years, and I am so grateful they trusted me again to document this meaningful chapter. Happy anniversary, Cindy and Ray—and thank you for another beautiful session together in Kapalua!

The Neely

The best part of photographing a multi‑family session is the energy—every generation brings their own flavor, their own inside jokes, their own version of “this is who we are.” This session at Poolenalena Beach was exactly that kind of magic.

We pulled up before sunrise, only to find the gate to the parking lot still closed. But honestly, that ended up being the perfect start. The moment it opened, we rolled in, and for the entire hour we were the only people on the beach. Just us, the soft morning light, and a whole crew of personalities ready to shine.

What I loved most was how each group brought something different: the silliness, the sweetness, the quiet moments, the loud ones, the generational connections that only happen when everyone shows up together. In just one hour, we captured a whole spectrum of personalities and relationships.

There are some mornings that make the early wake‑up call absolutely worth it—and photographing Iokua’s senior portrait was one of them. I knew the moment we chose our location that we were in for something special. The light, the landscape, and this incredible young man all came together in a way that felt effortless.

But what made it even more meaningful? I know his family. They’re close friends. So capturing this milestone wasn’t just a session—it was an honor.

When I photograph seniors, I’m celebrating who they are, what they’ve accomplished, and the future they’re stepping into. Seniors like Iokua are the next wave of leaders, creators, and world‑changers—and I’m proud to be their biggest fan and unofficial cheerleader.
