Yesterday I had the opportunity to capture the love between these two amazing people! Surrounded by their family and friends. Let’s just say the whole event was LIT! Metaphorically and literally. The weather couldn’t have been better here in Mckinney for a wedding. Because today the temperatures are in the fifties!

Thank you for trusting me to capture your HUGE day Kenny and Justin. Love you guys so much and can’t wait to send these off to you guys.

Huge shoutout to all the vendors who made this day happen. You all executed your craft so well and made such an impression on Kenny and Justin’s family and friends. Btw, those In-N-Out burgers hit differently for all the good reasons! What a surprise for your guests.

Coming back on after a weekend full of love, joy and happiness. To say the least…

I got to witness Matt and Lance exchange their vows in front of their closest family and friends. And I am so humbled that I got to capture such a monumental moment for all to relive.

Matt and Lance, thank you. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, spirit, willingness and love. The whole day was perfect! Words do not describe how happy I am for the two of you.

Alright, alright. Back to editing I go! Just needed a little break from my laptop screen. Lol

Do I want to be a Dad? Sure. Maybe? No. Who knows. All I do know is that I’m okay with either just being an Uncle for the rest of my life or potentially having one of my own some day in the future. I’m not opposed to either. For now, I’m going to do me, live my life, hustle as hard as I can and enjoy my nieces and nephews while they’re still so young and fragile.

Tayden did such an amazing job listening to me while taking these photos. He’s learning quick. Better be camera ready at all times kiddo🤣 Man, I love this little chubba lubba!

Well well well. It’s definitely been a hot minute since I’ve posted on here. So here’s a couple of photos from my recent photo shoot at home in Kona with and ._a 😍 Aren’t they just adorable AF?!! I had so much fun with these two. More photos to come soon from this golden session.

For now, it’s off to London I go✈️ See you in 24 hours America! I’m off to go eat my heart out at Camden Market. One of my favorite little towns in the UK.

Reminder to be nice to your photographer - we’re trying our best to only earn half our income 🤷🏼‍♀️

These are the reasons why we have non-refundable deposits, rescheduling fees, and our prices are how they are (even if we wish we had them higher).

Most of us need a reminder that we need to charge our worth, but with the constant hit back of being too expensive, it’s good to make sure people understand just how minimal our pay is for the amount of work we actually do.

Also, did you know new cameras have lifespans? You can’t just buy a camera and have it for life anymore.
Cameras have shutter counts (the amount of times you press that little button on top that takes the picture) and your camera will eventually die due to a high shutter count, and the cost to replace the shutter in the camera is the same if not more of buying an entirely new camera body - and you can’t be a photographer without a camera, so that’s an expense we always have to have in the back of our minds (what if my camera errors today?).

OMG OMG OMG!!!! I’m in awe with this wedding and how amazing these two did on the day of their wedding. I’m almost done with editing them and putting the final touches together and these babies are off to this newlywed couple to enjoy!
