My darling girl, Emery, Class of 2026. I was going through thousands of pictures over the last few months, curating them for Em’s graduation, and crying often as I came across particular moments. And realizing that as a parent, you’ve known all the versions of your child since they were little and you never get to see those versions again. The squishy baby, the quirky toddler, the awkward pre-teen. Such wonderful and hard seasons we’ve experienced together. And of course it’s all so bittersweet. Saying goodbye to who they were and thrilled to see who they will become. Emery, I love you so much and I’m so proud of the woman you are becoming. Keep shining bright for Jesus! 💛
