I am an Oahu based photographer that specializes in photographing families and their Hawaii adventures. Family is more than what you look like. I want to capture your relationships, personalities, quirky traits and the tiniest details that tell the story of who you are in this moment. This can’t be accomplished by sitting in stiff poses and saying cheese. I need you to have fun, to be yourselves!

Sometimes you just need a moment… to grieve a wet dress. A little salty, a little soggy, and feeling all the feelings. Don’t worry—five minutes later, you’re back to sprinting through waves and laughing like you invented joy itself.
Because that’s how it goes at Lanikai Beach: tiny heartbreaks over soggy hems quickly give way to belly laughs, splash fights, and sandy hugs with your favorite people. It’s unpredictable, a bit chaotic, and absolutely perfect.

This is what happens when you let kids loose on Kailua Beach armed with nothing but goggles, sand, and an unreasonable amount of enthusiasm. Their vacation rental was practically on the beach, which meant the line between playtime and photo time was... well, nonexistent. Honestly, this is my favorite kind of session—the salty, sandy, wildly joyful sort where everyone forgets they’re “supposed” to be posing.
