Ever had photos done and been given a USB drive / or a download link and never done a thing with them except upload to Facebook / Instagram…maybe printed some Christmas cards?
You’ve probably perused consumer printing sites like Shutterfly (cringe) and looked at the products, either got overwhelmed and didn’t order anything, or you did and they arrived 100% not looking like they did on your computer.
I’m really, really particular with how my work prints. It’s my art. It’s my clients families. These are images that I spend hours over.
Because of this I print all my work through a professional photo lab that I have an account with as a photographer. I provide all my clients with prints with every package. They all walk away with every single image that they purchase in print form from my professional lab.
I truly believe that it’s incredibly valuable to provide this to my clients. This why they are provided with prints from their session immediately to either frame / or keep in a keepsake box / or given an album. That’s the whole point of photos right? To print them. I don’t want my clients to feel overwhelmed with their digital negatives and either never print, or print with someone who won’t print to the level of quality of the original photograph.
