Another Monday is upon us, and our team is doing our best to keep the OG spirit alive with Open Decks.

We encourage everyone to join and continue honoring Pat's legacy if you can. It's also Labor Day, and we all deserve time to rest and recouperate. The DJs tonight will lead the way and keep the music flowing, and we have some great artists to do that.

For years Patrick Michael with the help of the Other Guys crew has hosted Open Decks at Papa Petes. This event gives emerging artists and national names alike the opportunity to have fun, showcase their talent, and to promote and grow the local EDM community. With the recent loss of Pat, I can’t think of any better way to honor his memory than to continue to love and help support the community for which he cared so deeply. Just wanted to give an update on the show tonight after the recent news that was presented to everybody.

It’s a very rough situation with our team and everyone is still trying to process the situation, but we plan on continuing the show tonight to honor his life and bring everyone together to show love, happiness, and togetherness as the Other Guys and everyone else in the community joins. We as a group came to the decision that this is what Pat would’ve wanted. He would always want the show to go on and to continue and everyone to play at their best potential to really show what our team is about and just to deliver a unique and fun experience for everyone.

So please come hang tonight at Papa Petes so we can honor this unbelievable fu***ng man that has done so much for Southwest Michigan community and helping push other DJs and artist. It was a blessing to have him in our scene and we must carry on his legacy.

Our local music scene lost a great artist and a great person today. Patrick Michael aka fendz has hosted countless fantastic events with Other Guys and has supported the growth of local artist tremendously. Tonight’s Homegrown Bass show at Papa Petes is still on and we are celebrating his life in the best way we can. Come out, support the scene he worked so hard to grow, and help us celebrate this amazing person!
