I am your portrait and lifestyle photographer, born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I began creating my image as a photographer as an 18-year-old, and to this day continue to tap into my creative side as an entrepreneur, photographer, designer, crafter, and Cricut lover! I will be not only your wedding photographer but also am there to make sure things run smoothly and help you create a sche

dule so you don't have to worry about timing on your big day. You'll often find me making silly faces, demonstrating poses, and singing along to the music on the dance floor! I am inspired by twinkle lights, golden hours, candid moments, classic movies, Jane Austen, cozy blankets and fireplaces, coffee for the things I can change and wine for the things I cannot, and international exploring.

Some sessions are extra special. 🤍

A few years ago, I had the honor of photographing the Bertoldis' wedding day. Last week, we met again on the shores of South Haven—but this time, they were introducing me to the sweetest new addition to their family.

Watching couples grow into parents is one of my favorite parts of this job. Being invited back to document these next chapters is something I'll never take for granted.

To make the evening even more meaningful, we included grandparents and an uncle, capturing three generations together. These are the photos that become family treasures.

And can we talk about the weather? The forecast had us expecting rain all day, but instead we were gifted the most beautiful morning with soft light, a calm beach, and the kind of sunrise photographers dream about. Sometimes Mother Nature has better plans than the forecast. ✨

Hi, I'm Audrey! 👋

I realized I've gained quite a few new faces around here lately, so I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.

I'm the photographer behind Audrey Sytsma Photography, and I truly believe the best photos aren't about perfect poses—they're about preserving the moments you'll want to remember years from now. Whether it's your growing family, your wedding day, or the little in-between moments, I'm so grateful to be trusted with your memories.

A few fun facts about me:

• I've always been drawn to creativity, and photography lets me tell stories while freezing moments in time.
• If I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me in my garden. This year I completely fell in love with growing flowers and vegetables (and yes... I'm officially obsessed with dahlias).
• I'm always up for a good glass of wine after a busy wedding weekend. I'm a red girlie all the way.
• I love crafting and making things with my hands.
• I'm an Australian Shepherd dog mom.
• I love traveling and exploring new places whenever I get the chance. My favorite countries so far have been Norway, Italy, and Tanzania.
• I'm a wife and mom to two little ones who keep life wonderfully busy and remind me every day why photos matter so much.

Spent today soaking up the warmth and color inside Hidden Drive Greenhouse in Kalamazoo, Michigan with Katie and her beautiful family 🌸✨

Even with the summer-like heat, every corner was absolutely stunning — endless blooms, dreamy light, and the sweetest moments between this gorgeous family made it all so worth it. Sessions like these are such a perfect reminder that sometimes the best memories are made in the simplest moments: snuggles, giggles, and wandering through flowers together.

As we gear up for the 2026 wedding season, I want to take a moment to throw it back to this winter wedding with Stephanie Parshall Photography, LLC.
