Miss you already Dad.
Frank P. McKenrick
(1958-2025)
Frank P. McKenrick, in recent years of Kalispell, Montana, and formerly of Emmett, Idaho and Tucson, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2025. He was 67 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie McKenrick, his daughter and son-in-law Amy and Mike Kehoe, his daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Andy Clement, and his three grandchildren, Macie, Lincoln and Reagan Clement.
Frank will be remembered as a man who loved others through service. He worked hard with his hands his whole life, and he put those skills to use serving his family, friends and neighbors. Without hesitation, he was the first to help those around him. It gave him great joy to make sure others had what they needed and that it was done well (or sometimes “good enough”, much to the chagrin of his family).
Frank loved to laugh and find ways to make people smile. He never took himself too seriously (and wouldn’t want us to take all this too seriously either). He made friends everywhere he went and had a way of putting others at ease. He enjoyed anything that allowed him to use his building and handyman skills. While he was a man who lived simply and humbly, never needing a lot of things, he kept most every tool or building supply he ever purchased because they allowed him to do what he loved – and who knows when you might need an old toilet (or five). He spent a great deal of time working outdoors and never stopped finding projects to do around the house until the very end.
Frank was a dedicated husband, father and “Papa”, a passionate softball coach to his daughters, and a devoted playmate to his grandchildren – always willing to play a princess, a pirate, or a Ghostbuster. The legacy he leaves his family is his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, and the truth of what it means to live humbly, serve joyfully and love others no matter what.
As Frank fought many health battles near the end of his life, he looked forward to the day that he would finally wake up in his true home in heaven. He did not fear the end but looked forward to it peacefully.
