One of the reasons I LOVE doing maternity sessions so much is because I never did one with either of my pregnancies. I let my insecurities stop me and it’s one of my biggest regrets! All I have are bathroom mirror selfies with me looking like a hot mess! 🤣 Plus… I love talking babies with mommas and getting to show these moms how beautiful they are! 🥰

There is a certain reality to cake smash sessions that doesn’t get talked about often. We ask a lot of these babies - strange place, stranger with a camera making silly noises to make them smile AND THEN we have the AUDACITY to stick a delicious cake in their face and expect them to love it. That doesn’t always happen but I think the crying shots are adorable too!
