Some sessions stay with you forever.

I have known Darrick for 17 years. He's the dad of one of my best friends, but to so many people he's been much more than that. Darrick has lived a life of service- as a police officer, a teacher and a hero to the many lives he's touched along the way. If you've met him, you know he's hilarious, incredibly smart, and genuinely kind.

Darrick has made an impact on so many people, in ways both big and small.

After being diagnosed with cancer and given only a short time left, his family wanted photos together- memories they could hold on to forever. It was truly an honor to capture these moments for them and I will never take that lightly.

These images are more than just photos- they are moments, memories and love captured in time. I am so grateful I could give them something they will hold onto forever.

Sessions like this remind me why photography matters so much.
