Can I take a sec to convince you that details are still so important even if you’re having an untraditional wedding or elopement?✨

Jake & Ffiona had some of the most immaculate details I have ever seen, from the thoughtful thrifted platter & trinkets (from VA where they eloped!), to touches of their faith, intentional coloring, and even the hand sewn charms on her dress. The combo was *chef’s kiss!😘

Details woven into your gallery really do help tell the story of your day through your personality, the adventure you chose, and the things that you hold close to your heart.

Just a peek into Maggie & David’s Olympic National Park elopement in March❄️🌲🌊✨

10/10 would recommend ditching the rulebook, marrying your best friend somewhere beautiful, and making a day out of it. These two made it feel easy, fun, and honestly… like the whole point of getting married in the first place.🙌🏽

A day that I will truly never forget with a couple in whom I whole heartedly know has the deepest love for one another. I really can’t thank Maggie and David enough for the honor to serve you and be your friend.🫶🏽

You don’t have to legally get married on your elopement day.

In fact, most of my couples don’t! Getting legally married in your home state or county removes the logistics of officiant coordination, witnesses, legal paperwork, and waiting periods. For over half of my couples, getting legally married ahead of time and reserving your elopement day for intimate vows and your actual celebratory wedding day is the way to go.

However, nobody is stopping you from having your wedding day and legalities all in one place, either! There are plenty of vendors who are eager to hike up mountains or cliffs to help you vow your lives to one another and make it official day-of. And I’m here to help guide you through all of those logistics in the planning phase, too!

Ending the night with a beach bonfire = elite elopement behavior🔥 10/10 recommend sandy toes, wind-blown hair, a cold beer, and laughing about how the day flew by way too fast???

– cliffside champagne pop (mandatory, honestly)
– barefoot first dance with no one watching
– a dip in the ocean in your wedding clothes
– post-ceremony pizza break
